By using BuildMath you agree to these terms. The site is a free planning tool, not a professional takeoff, engineering stamp, or offer to sell materials.

Estimates only

Calculator results are estimates from the sizes you type and from typical densities, bag yields, and waste percents. Real stone, soil, and tile vary by supplier, moisture, and how the material is placed. Confirm quantities and price with your supplier before you buy. Order extra if the ground is uneven or the layout is complex.

How we test the formulas is described on the methodology page. Passing a test means the function matches a known example, not that your driveway will use exactly 3.46 tons.

No professional advice

Nothing on the site is structural, legal, or building-code advice. Depth of a driveway, tile over a wet floor, and soil against a foundation are local questions. Hire a licensed contractor or engineer when the job needs one.

The site is provided as is

We work to keep the math correct and the pages available. We do not warrant that a result is complete, that ads will load, or that the site will be up at any given hour. To the extent the law allows, BuildMath is not liable for leftover gravel, a short tile order, or other costs that follow from using a number on this site.

Your use

Do not scrape the calculators in a way that harms the host, copy the pages and present them as your own product, or use the site to break the law. You may link to any public URL.
